Bolton Wanderers captain and Quorum Sports client David Wheater visited a local high school last week as part of the school’s English project where students wrote to community heroes who inspired them.

Wheater spent the day chatting to the children about what life was like as a footballer and answering their questions. There were long queues as everyone waited to get an autograph or a picture with the defender.

Of the day out, Wheater said: “I don’t mind the question and answers, it’s good for the kids. It was good fun.”
